We are absolutely thrilled to announce the winners of our 2023 Hear for the Holidays giveaway! Hear for the Holidays is a special initiative to give back to our community by recognizing and supporting those who may be struggling with hearing loss during the holiday season.

At York Hearing Clinic, we have always been committed to serving our community by enabling others to hear better and connect with the world around them. There are many reasons why someone may delay seeking treatment for hearing loss. Often, it’s due to financial constraints or because they’re prioritizing someone else over themself. Hear for the Holidays allows us to support someone special who may be delaying their hearing healthcare.

We invited our patients at each of our locations to nominate someone whom they believed deserved to win a complimentary pair of prescription hearing aids and ongoing hearing support.

And the Winners Are…

We received so many heartwarming nominations, and choosing only one winner per location was not easy! We are delighted to announce Liz Blight as our Newmarket winner. Liz has helped the community with over 15 years of volunteer work with the Newmarket Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Legion, and Seniors Centre! When we learned about Liz’s contributions to her community, we knew that she was a deserving winner.

And our Aurora winner is… Eunice Wedge! Eunice was the eldest of 10 children and, according to family and friends, has always looked after others before looking after herself. She has always been a "selfless giver" and her lifelong generosity has made her deserving of this prize.

We are so excited for Liz and Eunice, and we can’t wait to see how their lives improve now that they’ll get the hearing healthcare they need.

A HUGE Thank You to Our Patients!

This initiative wouldn’t be possible without our wonderful patients! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who participated by nominating someone deserving.

Our commitment to give back to our community and support our neighbors struggling with hearing loss will continue in the future.

If you or a loved one is experiencing signs of hearing loss, we would be truly honoured to be your trusted partner on your journey to better hearing. Don’t wait until the next contest to get the help you need. You can get in touch with us any time with all of your questions by calling us at (905) 953-9991 for Newmarket or (905) 841-2850 for Aurora, or request a callback.
