The season of giving is upon us, and at York Hearing Clinic, we believe there's no greater gift than the gift of better hearing.

That's why we're thrilled to announce that our “Hear for the Holidays” giveaway for 2023 is now officially open for nominations!

What We're Doing

This holiday season, we're looking to spread cheer in the most impactful way we know – by improving the lives of those suffering from hearing loss. We understand that at least one in eight people are affected by this silent barrier, which often goes unnoticed around the dinner table amidst the joy and laughter.

To bring back the full warmth of the season to individuals who may be struggling to connect, we are giving away a full hearing assessment and a complimentary pair of premium prescription hearing aids, complete with premium hearing care, to two deserving winners.

Why We're Doing It

At York Hearing Clinic, our commitment to community wellness is woven into the fabric of our practice. We are more than just a clinic; we're a community partner that understands the power of hearing in connecting us to our loved ones and the world around us.

Our Hear for the Holidays giveaway is a reflection of this dedication. It's our way of giving back while recognizing and supporting those who might be postponing their hearing healthcare, whether due to financial barriers, prioritizing others over themselves, or simply because they’re waiting for a fortunate turn of events.

How to Nominate

The heart of our giveaway is the stories of those you nominate – the details that paint a picture of why they deserve to win. To nominate someone special, visit our nomination page here.

We urge you to share your nominee’s story with us in depth.

Tell us about the impact hearing loss has had on their life and the joy that better hearing could bring them. Describe why they stand out as a deserving member of the community or how they've always put others before themself.

Please be as detailed as possible; these personal stories touch our hearts and are crucial in our decision-making process. The small details could make a significant difference and could be the reason your nominee is chosen.

The Selection and Announcement

Nominations will be open until November 30, 2023. After the close date, we will review all the heartfelt stories and select two winners who truly stand out in their need and deservingness of this life-changing gift.

The winners will be announced shortly thereafter and will be invited to York Hearing Clinic for comprehensive hearing assessments.

Our experts will provide the winners with full hearing assessments, identify their hearing loss, and fit them both with new hearing aids just in time for the holidays, ensuring they experience the festive season to its fullest.

The Impact of Your Nomination

Imagine a loved one hearing the crackle of the fireplace clearly for the first time in years, or the laughter of grandchildren without strain. Picture a neighbour or community member who dedicates their life to service finally receiving something in return. These are the moments that Hear for the Holidays aims to create.

So, take this opportunity to nominate someone dear to you – or an unsung hero in our community – and give them the chance to experience the holidays with clarity and connection.

It’s a gift that will truly keep on giving, long after the decorations have been packed away.

Join Us in Spreading Holiday Cheer

Let's make this holiday season one to remember. We invite you to help us identify those who would benefit most from the gift of hearing.

Submit your nomination, share this opportunity with friends and family, and let's work together to make a difference in the lives of those who give so much of themselves all year round.

Good luck, and let’s bring the joy of hearing to the holidays!
